Delete your account
Two ways to do it, and a plain account of what happens to your data afterwards. No retention team, no "are you sure" maze.
In the app
Open Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm, and you are done. This is the fastest route and it works immediately.
By email
Already uninstalled the app? Email support@pipchat.in from the address or phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm before acting.
There is a 14-day grace window. Deletion is scheduled, not instant — your account is deactivated straight away and becomes invisible to other people, and you can cancel at any point in those 14 days by signing back in. After that it proceeds and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos, bio, preferences and food identity.
- Your dinner posts, applications, matches and dates.
- Your messages — removed from your side and anonymised on the other person's, so their copy of a conversation does not silently rewrite itself.
- Your emergency contacts and any safety settings.
- Check-in records and any monitoring state from past dates.
What is kept, and why
A small amount of data outlives the account. Each item is kept for a stated reason and for a stated period, never indefinitely and never for marketing:
- Safety and enforcement records — if your account was reported, suspended or banned, the record survives deletion. Otherwise deleting and re-registering would erase a safety history, which is precisely how a banned person returns.
- Transaction records — purchases of Date Credits are financial records we are required to retain.
- Legal-hold material — anything covered by a live law-enforcement request or legal obligation, for as long as that obligation lasts.

Date Credits
Any unused Date Credits are forfeited when the account is deleted. They are a prepaid, closed-loop in-app balance, not money, and cannot be cashed out or transferred. Spend them or keep the account. See the Refund & Deposit Policy and Payment Terms.
Deleting your DinnerDate account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play. Cancel that in the Play Store, or it will keep renewing.
Other data rights
Deletion is not the only option. You can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or object to a particular use. Write to legal@pipchat.in — we acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. The full list of rights and how they are handled is in the Privacy Policy.
