These Community Guidelines form part of the Dinner Date legal framework and must be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Safety Guidelines, Content Moderation Policy, and Reporting & Enforcement Policy. Where these Guidelines conflict with the Terms of Service on a matter the Terms govern, the Terms control. Breaching these Guidelines can lead to content removal, feature limits, suspension, or permanent removal from Dinner Date under the Reporting & Enforcement Policy. This document should receive independent legal review before public launch.
1. What Dinner Date is
Dinner Date helps adults (18+) arrange in-person, food-centred meetings — one-on-one dates, group meets, and open-table gatherings — at public, approved venues such as restaurants and cafés. It is a technology platform that introduces people and reduces the friction of meeting; it is not an escort service, a sugar-dating service, a marketplace for paid companionship, or a venue booking agency, and it does not chaperone, supervise, or guarantee any meeting.
These Guidelines set the baseline for how people are expected to behave here. They apply to everything you do on Dinner Date: your profile, your photos, your date invitations (“posts”), your applications, your messages, your reviews and reports, and your conduct at the in-person date itself.
2. The core rules
1. Be 18 or older. Dinner Date is for adults only. Accounts are age-gated and any account found to belong to a minor is removed. See the Age & Eligibility Policy. 2. Be real and be yourself. One account per person. Use your own recent photos and truthful profile details. No impersonation, catfishing, fake profiles, or bots. 3. Treat people with respect. No harassment, hate, threats, intimidation, stalking, or degrading treatment — online or at the date. 4. Keep it consensual. No sexual content sent without consent, no pressure, no coercion. “No” ends it. 5. Meet safely and in public. Dates happen at public approved venues. Do not push someone to a private residence, a car, a hotel, or an isolated location. 6. Keep money out of it. Do not lend, borrow, gift, invest, sell, or solicit money or goods with someone you met here. Dinner Date is not liable for any private transaction. 7. Don’t break the law or use Dinner Date to harm others.
3. Profiles and identity
You may not:
- pretend to be someone else, use another person’s photos, or misrepresent your age, gender, or identity;
- use photos that are not of you, are AI-generated to deceive, are heavily filtered to mislead, or that
contain nudity, minors, contact details, or another identifiable person who has not consented;
- create multiple accounts, evade a ban with a new account, or run automated/scripted accounts;
- use your profile, name, bio, or photos to advertise, recruit, solicit, or link out to other services.

4. Prohibited conduct and content
The following are not allowed anywhere on Dinner Date:
- Harassment and bullying — targeted insults, repeated unwanted contact, ridicule, or threats.
- Hate — attacks or dehumanisation based on race, ethnicity, caste, religion, national origin,
disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or serious disease.
- Sexual harassment and non-consensual sexual content — unsolicited explicit messages or images,
requests for sexual content, or sharing someone’s intimate images.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE/CSAM) — zero tolerance. Any such content or behaviour is
removed, the account is banned, and reports are escalated to the authorities. See the Child Safety & CSAM Policy.
- Sexual services and trafficking — offering, soliciting, or arranging commercial sex, escorting,
“sugar” arrangements, or any form of human trafficking.
- Violence and self-harm — threats, incitement, glorification of violence, or content promoting
suicide or self-harm.
- Fraud and scams — romance scams, investment/crypto pitches, phishing, fake giveaways, advance-fee
requests, or any attempt to extract money or credentials.
- Solicitation and spam — advertising, recruiting, MLM, off-platform promotion, or mass unsolicited
messaging.
- Illegal goods and activity — weapons, drugs, stolen goods, or any unlawful activity.
- Private information (doxxing) — publishing another person’s private data or threatening to.
- Platform abuse — scraping, reverse-engineering, manipulating matching or reviews, or gaming
deposits, credits, coins, or referral/reward systems.
5. Conduct at the date
Meeting a stranger from any online profile carries real risk that Dinner Date cannot remove. You are responsible for your own safety and conduct. At a date you must:
- meet only at the agreed public approved venue and stay in public;
- respect boundaries and consent at all times; leave if anything feels wrong — you owe no one an evening;
- never pressure, intoxicate, drug, restrain, or coerce anyone;
- not conduct or solicit any financial transaction.
Read the Safety Guidelines and the in-app pre-date safety checklist before every date. Set up your Emergency Contacts (required), and use the in-app safety tools (check-in, SOS, drift alert, safe check-out) and local helplines shown in the app.
6. Deposits, credits, and fair play
Posting or applying to a date requires a refundable behaviour bond, held from your Date Credits balance, to discourage no-shows and abuse. Honour the dates you commit to. The bond rules — when a bond is returned and when a no-show or late-cancellation fee applies — are set out in the Refund & Deposit Policy, which is shown before every hold. Manipulating attendance verification, falsely reporting a no-show, or abusing the credits/coins/rewards systems is a violation.
7. What we cannot do
Dinner Date has no live support helpdesk and cannot intervene during a date. We cannot verify that a profile is truthful, and fake profiles are possible on any platform. Our tools reduce risk; they do not guarantee safety. After a date we can act on your report — warning, suspending, or banning an account — but only if you report it. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services directly.
8. Reporting and enforcement
If you see a violation, use the in-app Report option (you can attach evidence) or email support@pipchat.in. Reports are the primary signal we have. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts, and we preserve evidence and cooperate with authorities where the law requires. 9. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the product and the law evolve. Material changes will be notified where required by Applicable Law, and continued use after an update means you accept the current Guidelines.
